Senior Staff Analog Design Engineer - PMIC / Power Management
We are partnered with a global leader in semiconductor innovation, specifically focusing on advanced connectivity, voice, and music SoC solutions. The team is looking to hire a Senior Staff Analog Design Engineer to act as a key architect and contributor to complex power-management blocks and subsystems.
This is a permanent working opportunity based in Cambridge, UK.
Key Responsibilities for this Senior Staff Analog Design Engineer position:
- Define the architecture for complex Power-Management IPs, including SMPS and LDOs.
- Lead the development of analog sub-cells and subsystems from initial specification to final delivery.
- Responsible for delivering fully verified blocks and supporting the verification of broader power-management subsystems.
- Solve complex problems in tightly constrained environments and maintain expertise in analog sub-cell design.
- Collaborate with multiple departments to define requirements and provide characterization documentation.
Key Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional experience in Analog IC design.
- Proven track record in designing Power Management IPs such as SMPS (Switching Regulators) and LDOs.
- Proficiency with Cadence and Mentor analog design and verification toolsets.
- Strong understanding of analog design fundamentals and sub-cell architecture.
- Experience with MATLAB for architectural definition and system design is a plus.
