We're partnering with a respected M&E contractor based in Birkenhead to find a skilled Electrical Estimator . This full-time, permanent role is ideal for someone confident in preparing detailed electrical estimates and tender submissions, with a sharp eye for both technical detail and commercial strategy.

This role is suited for someone who enjoys working in a close-knit estimating team with strong operational support and a steady pipeline of projects.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Producing accurate and competitive electrical estimates for projects across commercial and public sector buildings
  • Reviewing drawings, specifications, and tender documentation
  • Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to source competitive pricing
  • Identifying potential risks, exclusions, and opportunities within each project scope
  • Collaborating with pre-construction and operational teams to align bids with delivery strategy
  • Supporting tender submissions and attending post-tender meetings as needed
  • Keeping clear documentation to support pricing strategies and cost breakdowns

Skills & Experience Required

  • Experience as an Electrical Estimator in the M&E or building services sector
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems and installations
  • Confident reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
  • Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Excel
  • Good commercial awareness and attention to detail
  • Clear communicator with a collaborative mindset
  • Relevant trade background or electrical qualifications (preferred)
