Opportunity | Business Development Rep (BDR) | FinTech | Scale-up | London, UK (hybrid)
Athlete Origin are excited to be working on behalf of a FinTech scale-up who are seeking to hire a BDR from an elite sporting background to join their growing team in the UK.
Our partner provides industry-leading market insights, data, and journalism to subscribers through a broad array of specialized brands, all powered by a strong and flexible digital publishing, analytics, and database platform. Their mission is to inform and unite investment professionals in global, specialized markets. They target high-growth, high-value investment sectors and themes where in-depth insights, solid market relationships, and active capital movement are essential to achieving success.
What you’ll do:
- Market strategy, outreach, and revenue forecasting.
- Consistently achieve revenue targets.
- Prospect new customers via phone, email, and social media.
- Convert inbound marketing leads into opportunities.
- Manage sales pipeline including phone, video, and in person interactions.
What you’ll need:
- Excellent relationship building skills with the ability to network with peers, prospects and customers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence and persuade in a business environment.
- A professional attitude, conduct and appearance.
- Previous exposure to sales would be a benefit. However, we do provide full training and give you all the tools to be successful.
- High performance sporting background.
