Systems & Process Transformation Manager

A growing manufacturing business is looking for a Systems & Process Transformation Manager to lead the development and implementation of a scalable digital and operational systems infrastructure.
This is a key transformation role focused on ERP implementation, process standardisation, data integrity and operational visibility across production, warehouse, quality and commercial functions.
The role will be centred around Microsoft Dynamics / Business Central and will involve mapping existing processes, improving workflows, integrating systems, and creating a structured, data-led environment to support business growth.
This is not a traditional operations management role. The focus is on systems, process design and digital transformation rather than direct responsibility for production output.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation and ongoing development of Microsoft Dynamics / Business Central
- Improve integration across production, warehouse, quality and order processing
- Map and redesign end-to-end manufacturing and operational workflows
- Reduce manual processes, inconsistencies and data gaps
- Build KPI frameworks and reporting tools across production, inventory and capacity
- Identify automation opportunities using tools such as Power BI, Power Apps and Power Automate
- Establish governance around data, workflows, system access and change management
- Work closely with Operations, Quality, Engineering and Commercial teams to embed new systems and processes
Requirements
- ERP implementation experience within a manufacturing environment
- Microsoft Dynamics / Business Central experience preferred
- Strong understanding of production, warehouse and quality processes
- Experience improving and standardising operational workflows
- Confident translating operational requirements into system-based solutions
- Experience in regulated, structured or compliance-led environments
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
Desirable
- Experience with MES-style systems or custom ERP modules
- Power Platform experience, including Power BI, Power Apps or Power Automate
- Experience in a high-growth or scaling manufacturing business
