We're looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our growing Data team and play a key role in building a modern, scalable data platform that drives decision-making across the business.

What You'll Be Doing
As a Senior Data Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing, developing and optimising our enterprise data platform.
You'll:
✅ Design and build scalable ELT/ETL pipelines using Microsoft Fabric
✅ Help evolve and optimise our data warehouse architecture
✅ Transform legacy and spreadsheet-driven processes into automated, governed data solutions
✅ Develop robust data models to support analytics and business intelligence
✅ Champion data quality, governance, security and compliance best practices
✅ Implement monitoring, observability and automated testing to improve platform reliability
✅ Drive engineering excellence through CI/CD, version control and DataOps practices
✅ Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions
✅ Mentor and support other engineers while helping shape the future of our data function
What We're Looking For
We're interested in engineers who combine strong technical expertise with a genuine passion for solving complex business problems through data.
You'll ideally have:
Essential Skills
✔ Strong experience building and maintaining production-grade data platforms
✔ Advanced SQL and Python development skills
✔ Experience designing scalable data pipelines and data architectures
✔ Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and methodologies
✔ Experience working with cloud technologies (Azure, AWS or GCP)
✔ Knowledge of data governance, security and quality frameworks
✔ Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
✔ Experience driving technical improvements and engineering best practices
Nice To Have
➕ Microsoft Fabric experience
➕ Modern DataOps / DevOps practices
➕ Dimensional Modelling, Data Vault or hybrid modelling techniques
➕ Experience mentoring engineers or leading technical initiatives
