Data Programme Manager
Data & Information Platforms / Data Remediation / Data Migration / Strategy / Stabilisation
Package: £115,000 + 20% Bonus + 20% Pension
Duration: 12-month FTC, with opportunity for extension or permanent move
Location: Central London – 2 days per week
This is an exciting opportunity for a Programme Manager to join a prestigious financial organisation, helping to stabilise the data function following an enterprise reorganisation and digital transformation, which has significantly impacted a busy data function.
As Programme Manager, you will act as a second pair of hands to the Head of Data, sitting within the data leadership team. You will manage a sizeable transformation and BAU budget, oversee a 50+ resource team, lead programme governance, and take ownership of large-scale deliveries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Budget management
- Resource management
- Programme governance
- Walk-the-wall facilitation
- Programme delivery – e.g. data remediation, data platform migration (Microsoft Fabric), regulatory reporting, etc.
- Cross-functional team management, working closely with the AI team and Technical Architects
Required Experience:
- Data delivery expertise (operated and delivered within a data team)
- Programme-level experience, whilst remaining hands-on
- Experience working within a senior management team
- C-level stakeholder engagement
- Managed budgets and resources
- Experience leading and working within a cross-functional collaborative team
- Financial services experience ideally or exposure to a heavy data regulatory environment
