A Senior Mechanical Design Engineer plays a crucial role in the Aerospace and Defence industry, ensuring that all products and processes meet the highest quality standards. At Quest Global we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team.
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for 3D modelling, conceptual design to Modelling, 2D modelling, Design to manufacturing, material selection, and concession/Non-conformance (identifying, documenting, and resolving any non-conformance issues that may arise during the manufacturing process). You will work closely with cross-functional teams to carry out design activities, investigate and analyse non-conformance reports, develop corrective actions, and implement effective solutions to prevent future occurrences

y):· Proficient in 3D CAD package for both modelling and drawing, ideally PTC CREO v7 and TEAMCENTER UNIF
IED· First-hand experience in drafting engineering drawing including GD&T and tolerance sta
ck.· Experience in designing mechanical components, parts, assemblies and subassemblies of engineering sys
tem· Experience in hand calculations to support initial component sizing, O-ring groove dimensions, bolt size and num
ber· Ability to compile manufacturing drawings to BS8888 drawing standard with an understanding of Teamcenter Unified (TCU) PLM, to allow drawing and part sign-
off
