Job Title: Senior / Principal Town Planner
Location: Camberley
We are working with a highly respected national planning consultancy to recruit a Senior or Principal Planner to join their established and growing team in Camberley.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced planning professional with at least five years' relevant experience to work on a diverse portfolio of high-profile and complex projects across England and Wales. The consultancy has built a strong reputation within the UK planning and development sector, offering expert advice to both private and public sector clients while fostering a collaborative and supportive working environment.
The Role
As part of the Camberley Planning team, you will play a key role in delivering a wide range of planning projects, including:
Strategic planning and development management
Planning application and appeals coordination
Advising clients on complex and prestigious development schemes
Managing projects from inception through to completion
Building and maintaining strong client relationships
Supporting and mentoring junior team members
Contributing to business development and team growth initiatives

About You
Our client is keen to speak with planning professionals who can demonstrate:
MRTPI qualification
A minimum of 5 years' professional planning experience, ideally gained within consultancy or a comparable environment
Strong knowledge of the UK planning system and development process
A commercial mindset with the ability to provide pragmatic planning advice within a broader property and development context
Excellent analytical, report-writing and communication skills
Confidence in managing planning projects and engaging directly with clients and stakeholders
