Performance Test Lead

Role: Senior Performance Test Analyst

Location: Central London - 3 days a week in the office

Salary: £70,000 plus benefits

I’m working on a Senior Performance Test Analyst role in Central London.

This one is for someone who properly understands performance testing.

Not just running a few scripts.

Not just picking up JMeter here and there.

Someone who can look at an application, understand how it should perform, build out the right test approach and help the business get confidence before anything goes live.

You’ll be working across load, stress, integration, regression, and performance testing, ensuring applications and infrastructure are stable, scalable, and ready for production.

The role will involve:

• Building and running performance test scripts
• Working with JMeter and LoadRunner
• Analysing performance issues and helping get to the root cause
• Working closely with Developers, QA, Scrum Masters, Project Managers and Operations teams
• Reporting defects clearly and accurately
• Helping shape performance testing frameworks
• Coaching and supporting others around performance testing

We are looking for someone with:

• Strong performance testing experience
• Experience with JMeter, LoadRunner or similar tools
• Scripting experience with Java, Python or Shell
• Knowledge of CI/CD, Git, Bitbucket and Jenkins
• Experience working in Agile environments

Financial Services experience or Insurance experience would be a bonus

This would suit someone who likes taking ownership, enjoys solving technical problems and wants to have a real say in how performance testing is delivered across a business.
