A leading manufacturing business in Cornwall is looking to appoint a hands-on Senior Quality Engineer to support continued growth across its operations.

The Role:

This is a highly visible, hands-on position where you’ll work closely with manufacturing, engineering and operational teams to drive quality standards across the site.


You’ll be involved in:

  • Leading root cause investigations and implementing corrective actions
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing processes
  • Supporting internal and external audits
  • Managing non-conformance and CAPA activities
  • Working closely with suppliers and customers on quality-related matters
  • Supporting process improvement and quality performance metrics
  • Championing a strong quality-first culture across the business


What We’re Looking For:

We’re looking for an experienced manufacturing Quality Engineer who enjoys being close to the shop floor and making tangible improvements.


You’ll ideally have:

  • Proven experience within a manufacturing or production environment
  • Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis experience
  • Knowledge of quality tools such as CAPA, 8D, FMEA, PPAP or SPC
  • Experience working to ISO standards
  • A proactive, collaborative and hands-on approach
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence across teams
