Management Accountant - £
Black Fox are delighted to be working with a successful Newry based manufacturing company to recruit for their permanent Management Accountant, offering a generous package and a negotiable salary depending on experience.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Own cost accounting, including raw materials, labour, and overheads.
Lead month-end stock takes, reconciliations, and valuations.
Analyse performance, investigating discrepancies between standard and actual costs to identify waste reduction and profitability opportunities.
Produce monthly management accounts, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
Ensure compliance with financial controls and audit requirements.
Manage annual budgeting and rolling forecasts, providing insight for operational decisions.
Collaborate with sales and operations to enhance reporting and provide clear actionable financial data to non-finance managers.
What we are looking for:
Proven experience in a manufacturing, production, or engineering environment.
Strong understanding of standard costing and variance analysis
Likely qualified or part-qualified (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
Hold a current full driving license which is valid for use in the UK and have access to a car.
