As we continue to grow, we're looking for a motivated Junior Electrical Estimator to join our team in Warrington. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with an electrical background looking to progress their career in estimating.
The Role:
As a Junior Electrical Estimator, you will support our estimating team in preparing accurate, competitive bids for a variety of electrical projects. You will gain exposure to all aspects of estimating, from initial take-offs to final proposals, and will have the opportunity to grow within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing detailed take-offs from drawings and specifications.
- Assisting in the preparation of cost estimates, budgets, and tender submissions.
- Supporting senior estimators with project research and pricing.
- Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain accurate costs.
- Ensuring all estimates meet company standards and deadlines.
- Maintaining up-to-date records of all estimating activities.
Requirements:
- Previous estimating experience preferred but not essential.
- Must come from an electrical background (experience on site or in projects).
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and teamworking abilities.
- Proactive and willing to learn with career progression in mind.
