Senior Data Engineer

Our client is modernising their data infrastructure and needs a hands-on Senior Data Engineer to lead the migration from a legacy Talend and Jenkins platform to a modern stack powered by dbt Cloud and Snowflake.

This isn't a role where you'll be maintaining someone else's work, you'll be shaping the platform from the ground up, setting standards and mentoring engineers along the way

What you'll be doing:

• Leading the migration of legacy pipelines into modular dbt mode
• Implementing CI/CD best practices for data transformation
• onOptimising Snowflake performance and ensuring data integrity
• Contributing to engineering standards and documentation

What you'll need:

Deep hands-on dbt Cloud and Snowflake experience

• Proven legacy-to-modern migration background
• Strong SQL and working knowledge of Talend/Jenkins
• A delivery-focused, collaborative mind
