Location: London (2 days per week in office)

Salary: £80,000 – £95,000 + bonus and benefits

A leading international group is seeking an Indirect Tax Manager to join its established tax team. This role offers a mix of compliance oversight and advisory work across multiple jurisdictions within a fast-paced, global business environment.

The Role

You will be responsible for the review and sign-off of indirect tax returns across various regions, ensuring accuracy, strong controls, and practical application of tax rules. The role also involves providing commercial, pragmatic advice on indirect tax matters and supporting the wider finance team.

Key Responsibilities

• Review indirect tax returns across international jurisdictions (rather than preparing them)
• Challenge data and assumptions by asking insightful, practical questions
• Monitor legislative changes and assess business impact
• Identify and manage tax risks and support controls framework improvements
• Partner with stakeholders to provide clear, commercially focused tax advice

Candidate Profile

• Experience in indirect tax / VAT, ideally with in-house exposure
• Strong practical compliance experience, particularly reviewing returns
• Commercial mindset with the confidence to challenge and influence
• Experience working across multiple jurisdictions
• Background in industry preferred
