HAIL Partners is partnering with a leading global Private Equity firm to find a Coordinator to join their European Origination team. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone with genuine commercial curiosity who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to be at the heart of a high-performing investment team.
The Role
You'll be a key operational partner to the European Origination team, supporting partners and senior investment professionals across a broad range of responsibilities. The role goes far beyond traditional admin. You'll be trusted with project ownership, stakeholder management, and process improvement from day one.
Role responsibilities:
- Supporting partners and the wider team to deliver against critical priorities, often to tight deadlines
- Managing complex diaries, meetings, off-sites and events end-to-end
- Acting as a key point of contact for senior internal and external stakeholders
- Owning the team's DealCloud (CRM) project and onboarding new joiners
- Preparing high-quality materials in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Managing expenses through Concur
- Supporting the recruitment process — liaising with recruiters, arranging interviews, helping with onboarding
- Embedding AI tools (Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT) thoughtfully into how the team works
Requirements:
- 5+ years' administrative experience in a similarly demanding environment
- Previous experience in financial services is essential
- Proactive, commercially curious, and genuinely interested in Private Equity
- Exceptional interpersonal skills — tact, poise, and discretion are non-negotiable
- Strong attention to detail and outstanding written and verbal communication
- Comfortable using AI tools to streamline work, and excited to learn new ones
- Advanced Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- A team player who is comfortable adapting quickly as priorities evolve
