Operating across a range of highly regulated and safety-critical industries, they develop specialist engineered products that support customers in sectors including energy, infrastructure, transportation, and industrial manufacturing. With continued investment in technology, product development, and engineering capability, they are seeking an experienced technical leader to join their team at a pivotal stage of growth.
Role
We are seeking a Lead Product Engineer to act as the technical authority for a specialist mechanical product portfolio. This is a senior engineering position responsible for providing expert guidance on product performance, integrity, safety, and reliability throughout the product lifecycle. The role will lead complex technical investigations, root cause analysis, engineering calculations, validation activities, and safety-critical assessments while supporting manufacturing, quality, and customer-facing teams. In addition, you will play a key role in driving continuous improvement, developing future product capability, supporting major customer accounts, and influencing long-term engineering strategy, investment, and innovation.

Comfortable operating as a recognised subject matter expert, you will have a proven track record of leading technical investigations, producing high-quality engineering reports, and engaging confidently with customers, auditors, and senior stakeholders. Chartered Engineer status or progress towards professional accreditation would be advantageous, alongside strong analytical skills, commercial awareness, and a passion for developing engineering excellence.
