Job Description

London City Lionesses are one of the most ambitious clubs in women's football and part of the Kynisca group - a pioneering global organisation founded by Michele Kang with a vision to transform the future of women's sport. Following promotion to the Women's Super League, the club is entering an exciting new chapter as it continues to establish itself amongst the leading teams in the women's game.

Driven by a high-performance culture and long-term vision, the club is investing significantly in its people, infrastructure and performance environment. This includes the development of a state-of-the-art training centre designed to support elite performance and provide players and staff with one of the leading facilities in women's football.

The Facilities Manager will play a key role in this journey, leading the day-to-day management of the club's training ground and facilities operation while helping shape the future development of the site. Working closely with the senior leadership team, the successful candidate will oversee a complex and evolving environment, ensuring players and staff have access to facilities that support high performance every day.

The impact you'll make

  • Lead the day-to-day operation of London City Lionesses' training ground, ensuring players, staff and visitors have access to a safe, professional and high-performance environment.
  • Play a key role in the development of the club's new Elite Performance Centre, working alongside senior leaders, contractors and stakeholders as one of the most exciting infrastructure projects in women's football progresses.
  • Manage a diverse and complex site that includes football operations, academy activity, external businesses, contractors and residential stakeholders.
  • Drive high standards across facilities, grounds maintenance, health & safety, compliance and contractor management, helping create an environment capable of supporting Champions League ambitions.
  • Build and shape the future of the function, joining a newly created role with genuine opportunity to influence processes, systems and long-term facilities strategy.

What's in it for you?

  • The opportunity to join one of the fastest-growing clubs in European football at a transformational stage of its journey.
  • Direct involvement in the development of a new state-of-the-art Elite Performance Centre, creating a lasting legacy for the club.
  • A highly visible role working closely with senior leadership and key stakeholders across the organisation.
  • Daily breakfast and lunch provided on site.
  • Opportunities for professional development, training courses and continued learning.
  • A collaborative, ambitious and values-driven culture where individuals are encouraged to contribute ideas and help shape the future of the club.

Your skills and experience

  • Experience within facilities, estates, site or venue management, ideally within a sport, leisure, education, hospitality or multi-stakeholder environment.
  • Strong knowledge of facilities operations, contractor management, health & safety and compliance.
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities across a busy and evolving site.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with colleagues, contractors and external partners.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach and the confidence to take ownership of issues and see them through to completion.
  • Experience working within a changing environment where adaptability, initiative and problem-solving are essential.
